- Torben Blech gave himself the best possible gift on his 28th birthday: With a jump of 5.82 meters, he won the pole vault and met the qualifying standard for the European Indoor Championships. Bo Kanda Lita Baehre finished second with a jump of 5.74 meters.
- Mikaelle Assani provided one of the most emotional highlights in the long jump. With a jump of 6.70 meters, she significantly improved her personal best and won the competition.
- Dominik Kopeć of Poland sprinted the 60 meters in 6.57 seconds to set a new meet record. In the 800 meters, Amel Tuka also set a new meet record with a time of 1:47.02 minutes.

The sixth edition marked the beginning of a new chapter in the event’s history: Sparkasse Dortmund became the title sponsor, and the meet was given its current name. As part of the World Athletics Indoor Tour with Bronze status, the Helmut-Körnig-Halle once again served as the stage for international stars, top German athletes, and numerous personal bests.
